My name is Mark Brickman,I'm a logger in the U.P of Michigan.I've been at it for 32 yr's. I've been learning alot of different thing's in the past 5 yr's .My outlook on logging and life are changing dramatically. I don't appreciate "in the box indusrty" a tall.I'm really seeing the drastic impact it really has on our world.I can't totally change it.But I can set a good example. It does'nt make any sense to take mechanized logging equipment and devastate the wood's and when you look at the meer pitance the mill's are paying for the raw forest product's delivered to the mill,as compared to the "out of the box" spec's and prices .Unbelievable. Anyway,what I am really inquiring about is ,I am trying to learn more about finished wood product's especially the crotch wood. What are all the different uses for crotch wood?
